  • Quiatas and Mogrum (riding sabre-slugs) inspect the mysterious cottage from way back in #15
  • Quiatas cares more for wildlife than people, his one possible virtue
  • Gullibrite is a resinate developed by the Gullibritons, which allows the user to transmit lies or impersonate another person; typically it can only be used a few times, before the strain causes it to crumble
  • Mogrum saw gullibrite in use, before he became Mogrum; he also senses the one who took his sight (panel 8)
  • “Abysma” is scrawled on the wall, and there are dried plants fastened on it to mask the stench of decay (panel 6)
