Here’s the lowdown on your old pal Matty Boy for this chilly November morning:
1. I’ve spent many days this month doing construction work to cover rent and expenses since my sites/artwork/strips are bringing in nothing currently and selling toys isn’t making the nut either
2. Yesterday I returned home after a full demo shift of prying nails out of boards to discover that my beloved desktop computer was no longer functioning
3. Although exhausted I spent last night cleaning a pound of dust bunnies out of my computer and trying to start it up, to no avail, while readying my laptop to be the primary workstation
4. This morning I did a “Hail Mary” boot and the old girl breathed life again, meaning thankfully I can use my old Photoshop, Debut, and VideoPad without having to BUY THEM ALL AGAIN
5. The regularly scheduled domestic abuse incident just concluded in my apartment parking lot, after around a half-hour of screaming and profanity, and now there is assorted detritus scattered about like wine bottles, video game console periphery, and a denuded Playstation that someone in a black SUV deliberately ran over
6. Neither I nor anyone else called the police because why bother
